I had an excellent meal at ChutneyZ, eating with friends who all agreed that it was the best Indian food we've enjoyed in Ipswich.The setting and atmosphere are pleasant and unpretentious. It is not a fancy restaurant, and does not pretend to be. First time coming here on recommendations. It was a lunchtime so not too busy, really friendly young waitress. Food took a little while but I'm sure it was cooked from scratch. The onion bhaji's were so tasty and the flavour of our curries was wonderful. We will return ?
Had mixed reviews from this restaurent so decided to see for ourselves. Small menu but everything on there is delicious. I had onion bhajies to start. They were superb. Different to what I am used to but still superb. I then had butter chicken not too spicy however my husband wanted the same but with more of a bite. Chef came out to see us and advised what to do.
