Good food but bad service. It seemed too much effort to wait on the table. We waited ages for the table to be cleared then had to go up and pay as nobody came to take payment. Staff did not come across overly friendly.

Had a lovely lunch on this boat, was a bit dubious at first as the outside didn't look overly inviting, but as they say never judge a book by it's cover, would have given five stars but it was a bit chilly, had to put the oil heater on next to me to warm up. The food was amazing would definitely recommend the pork belly with Calvados sauce

Mariners is an experience you should not miss. Whenever someone in my family visits they ask to go to Mariners, and they're not local either. One granddaughter lives in Australia and another in California!! My whole family loves the place.

Interesting restaurant on a boat moored on Ipswich waterfront. Superb beef wellington. The choice of dishes could be more varied but what we ate was excellent.
5* food and service. Waiting staff were knowledgeable of the menu and were very professional & polite. Food was great?

I have to say the customer service was above & beyond on our visit. I suffer with arthritis in my hips and unfortunately i sat the side of the boat that was slightly slopped, this was very uncomfortable for my hips and we were unable to move due to other reservations, Jade went totally out of her way to find a piece of wood that levelled out my chair and she succeeded ?? absolutely outstanding service from Jade, she was just amazing (along with all the other staff of course)

On arrival we were 15mins early an couldn't go aboard the boat as it was still locked up,It was pouring down we got soaked.We sat for 20mins after receiving our drink an wanted to order,so I had to get up an go find someone to take our order,It do state 2hr for dining.Starter was Pork t an the base was hard 2/10Dinner was Seabass that was nice but no sauce to accompany it so quite bland.6/10Dessert was the bestSpiced Apple pudding with cognac ice cream.9/10Overal opinion/Not as Good as I expected.
