I perform at the white horse pub once every month, mainly on Sundays and the local residents have made me feel so welcome. ? Alan and effin are fantastic hosts and the staff work very hard to ensure you have a great experience. And the food is amazing especially the home cooked roasts. I highly recommend this pub for your Sunday music and roast lunch fix. Just fabulous hence the five stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Visited the White Horse for a pensioners lunch. We could not fault the food which was excellent, well cooked and plentiful. We could not manage a dessert but hope to on our next visit. Staff very friendly, it was clean, comfortable and a very pleasant experience.
We spotted an over 60’s meal offer so thought we’d try it out. Made very welcome on arrival and were able to tuck our bikes away. Choices for starter pate on toast or shell on prawns. Main cottage pie, fish & chips or rock eel. Choice of desserts available. Shell on prawns ok but there was a black & white dog hair in the salad ( no doubt from the black & white dog there). Also, no bowl of water to rinse my hands in, but ladies toilets not far away. Fish very good but chips very overcooked so I left most of them. Also no tartar sauce. We did say we might sit outdoors but chap said it was too far to deliver our food, but that we could sit in the conservatory. Anyhow, we like to try local eateries out on our travels but this one didn’t quite meet our expectations.

Stayed in a holiday cottage in the village for the weekend and went for a lovely Sunday roast which was absolutely amazing! Friendly welcoming pub atmosphere plenty of space as seating outside either under marquee tent or beer garden. Dog friendly and greeted by the resident pub dog Henry ? who made friends with our Greyhound. Food and service were excellent. Highly recommend ?

So ... Not very good for food,no food at all. It's a Wednesday, Suffolk show is on and I'm starving. The owner is complaining about some apprenticeship, kitchen is closed....but there are packed peanuts. Locals are important!!! All the rest is irrelevant. Maybe on Friday when the Turkish fish and chips take a way truck, comes around it's busy.........for the fishnchips. With a Burberry chair deco and a cold fireplace seating on the second cheapest carpet,it's nearly 8 o'clock and the OAP didn't come through today leaving the area empty without customers or guests. Not even ice, no staff, empty bucket of ice. It's embarrassing. When less than 2 miles away there are more than than hundred thousand visitors.
