Kid-friendliness: Great place for children and dog friendly too. Sunday afternoon entertainment with the Piano Man is brilliant ?

Costly meal for poor food. I ordered Roast pork & Yourshire, the port was cold and tougher than raw beef, the yourkshire pudding was black and ice cold, two warm small roast potatoes were quite nice, coffee was hot and nice, £34.95 was well over priced, my wife did get hot fish meal but 2 hours waiting was bad too. I couldn’t recommend going to eat there.

Called here for Sunday lunch, wasn't busy, as I entered there seemed to be more staff than customers. They ask you for your pudding order with your mains order which is rather strange. Service was prompt,, in fact a little to prompt, Ordered the Roast, which consisted of bought in Yorkshire puddings, pork was tender, red cabbage which I love, tasted off, roast potatoes under cooked. Mains was cleared as soon as I laid my cutlery onto the plate and my pudding was delivered straight away. We were still chewing our puddings when the waitress cleared the dishes. Seemed to have a lot of new staff training with no one showing them the basic standards. What a shame!

6 of us stopped in today for some food ,we waited nearly an hour and all our meals came out burnt , 2 of us had lasagne which was dripping in oil .we was given a full refund. Didn't eat it so left and went somewhere

I've been to many pubs over the years . But Livingstone's is how I'd like my local to be... this is probably the best pub I've ever been to.,.

I went here for a date night with my boyfriend. Really nice food and staff. Had a lovely meal for a really good price! Would recommend the BBQ baby back ribs. After we had eaten we went to the bar and was greeted with a lovely bartender. All the staff are amazing as they are professional and provide the best service. I would highly recommend you visit Livingstone’s Freehouse even just for a drink. I also hope to come back soon!

Our village local. Nice pub, good decor and very clean. We attended for the pub quiz that was a fantastic evening. We had food here, nothing special. Service was a little slow but it was very busy. Very expensive for drinks compared to some of the pubs in lowestoft.

big old queue at the carvery desk and when you get to the front you find it the meat is just industrially reformed logs instead of fresh from the butchers and they're even tight with the fake meat. unless you like loads of undercooked greens you will have to fill up on potatoes and they're not that nice. I can make so much better potatoes at home that are crispy and not drowned in oil.the ale was stale, prices like they had a Michelin star or something. I'm glad I didn't bring the kids because the bar was full of yakking Karen's swearing about this and that as loud as they could. I suppose they only survive on the tourist trade and there's nowhere else to go in the village these days
