Got fish and chips to take down to the sea front with the kids. The food was very nice, though they put a bit too much salt on the chips, but you can do the salt and vinegar yourself if you like. Much better value than other such places we'd seen. The area itself is a bit of a hidden gem. There's a free car park and play park next door, which was useful for the wait as they cook the order fresh, and there are some well maintained picnic benches a short walk from the shop, right...read full review

It's the best fish and chips we've had in years. We wish we didn't live so far away as we'd be there every night. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. Even the other customers were very friendly and chatted with us. Would definitely go back and recommend to anyone passing.Kid-friendliness: We had our granddaughters with us who enjoyed everything they were given. Empty plates from them both. The staff and other customers chatted to them too.

So much better than the other fish and chip shop fish very well cooked and not dripping in oil or fatParking: Right next to a free carpark and play area and who doesn't like free!
