Thought I would order a chippy for my family, wish I could get my money back. I ordered 2 portions of chips and some chicken nuggets. The staff were absolutely horrendous towards my family, some of the staff were mingers looked like they bathed in the oil when the shop was closed. The chips were as oily as oily can get, you could see the oil seeping through the paper. The chicken nuggets looked like they were from farmfoods and they were still pink on the inside. Good thing I checked before letting my son eat them. Would not recommend, worst chip shop ever. ??

Lovely thin batter on the fish. Frying area/servery was clean and tidy and we witnessed regular hand washing by food handlers. Thanks for a nice meal.

Paplos is a very unique and unforgettable fish and chip shop the food is very tasty and delicious they serve very well I love their food
Lovely food cooked at a very good quality. The fish was cooked perfectly and the chips, although I personally don't tend to like chip shop chips, these were outstanding. I cannot fault the food at all.My only criticism would be that they could be a bit more 'hot' on their hygiene standards. Otherwise, no issues.

Called in on the off chance, it's now my go to chippy, so far we have had cod and haddock both well cooked with a tasty batter coating, chips too many and prices reasonable.Parking: Parking is on road
