Went in for social drinks, I was visiting friends in the area, first time I'd been in,it was a friendly good old school pub,no TV on,quiet music,and all you could hear was conversations from different groups of people in the pub,we need more pubs like this, I didn't have food as it was the evening,there was a Thai/Chinese food trailer in the car park,was very popular with the locals,I wasn't hungry so didn't try it,but from looking at what people bought it looked nice ,and plenty...read full review
This in my opinion is one of the very best community pubs I have ever visited and always go back when visiting family in nearby Diss. Very friendly staff, very reasonable prices and always keeps good beer and ciders. Community run pub, which gives it a wonderful atmosphere. Good local beers on rotation and a variety of food vans on certain nights. Would highly recommend!!Parking: Main car park up the slope round the back. Ample space to drop people with limited mobility at the front or back door.
