We had a lovely time at Potton Hall’s Yurt Cafe. They were really welcoming after our wifi went down and we needed an emergency place to work. The food is fresh and delicious, and the coffee and cake is perfect.

We are staying in the area, and are so happy to have stumbled across The Yurt at Potton Hall on one of our walks. It's a lovely space, set in a gorgeous garden surrounded by marvellous old trees, and with the little Dunwich River running through. There's a sculpture trail not to be missed, and artistic touches everywhere. We've had coffee there twice, and lunch once. The food is superb, and the staff could not be more welcoming, pleasant and accommodating. We have booked an evening meal, and are hoping to fit in a back massage as well before we leave!

This venue is so unique and pretty. The food is amazing and the service incredible. We went for a meal for my birthday and they even decorated the table anf put a banner up. Such special little touches. Hugely recommend this place. AMAZING, thank you love the field family.x

We had a superb evening this last Saturday (29th Sept). The Yurt is beautiful and in beautiful tranquil surroundings. Priscilla is the perfect host;- welcoming, joyful, attentive and careful with our privacy. The food was absolutely splendid and we went home very grateful. When we are in the area again we will visit the Yurt. And may also stay there too. It was perfect.

We had a great evening at The Yurt. The atmosphere is relaxed, the staff friendly and the food superb. The chef uses ingredients from the garden to enhance his dishes. We returned the next day to see the sculpture park and it was great to see a party of young mums having a day out at the spa. This is an unusual, generous and welcoming place. We hope one day to return and stay in the soon to be opened hotel.

It Was the first week they have done even meals and a new chief, what an amazing experience very friendly host food was very good and I am a very fussy eater , I had burger and my husband had the chicken just right amount to eat , nice coffee and very good cake, all cooked from fresh,They are opening the cottage next month, if we come back here would definitely look to see if we could stay.It was dark when we got there, but what we could see if the facility in the spa area looked good, they have an open air pool and hot tubs too,.Wish you all the best with this new adventure .Just maybe some light near the car park in the evening, but we had our phones to see back to the car.Lovely evening thank you,Donna

Only had drinks but lovely coffee, hot chocolate and tea. Great staff and service - I will be back to dine in on another occasion as food looks good too.

BEWARE!Not a rating, rather a warning, but I don't want to damage their reputation. We booked on line, got confirmation AND a reminder by e-mail. However when we arrived the whole place was shut up.Very apologetic owner explained that the online booking system (Acuity) was ignoring the fact that they were closed due to unforseen circumstances.Menu looks lovely and owner seemed nice but do make sure before you go...

It's a real shame because the first time we came here we really loved it but this time it was like the staff didn't really care and didn't seem keen to offer breakfast ,the cake looked like it had seen better days and my coffee was hardly warm .

Had a lovely cooked breakfast in the yurt cafe at Potten Hall. A special place a little off the beaten track - perfect for a walk and a delicious meal ?

We spent the day at the Dunwich beach and ended up at the Yurt for lunch as it was a few minutes drive away. The food was prepared by a Spanish chef and was very well presented and tasty.Definitely worth a visit if you are nearby. We learned about the cottages they rent by the night, the spa, hot tubs, swimming pools etc during our visit. We may have to return for a few nights holiday here some day.
