Suzie's is great. Great food and coffee in the best location

A genuinely friendly and happy bunch of people serving, great coffee and Mövenpick ice cream. Put that together with nice weather and the waves gently breaking on the beach, I can think of worst ways to spend an hour or so.

They were busy at an October Sunday brunch-time (always a good sign) and the staff were all really happy.Coffee good, food delicious! Thanks guys!!

Southwold's unofficial ice-cream inspector visited Suzie's Cafe yesterday. Credit where due the Swiss Chocolate is exceptional. So unbelievably good we had to double check the nextday. This reviewing is seriously hard work.

Excellent coffee, great service with a smile ( despite the queue) and a super location. Fresh flowers on the table much appreciated. With sea, sand and sunshine makes for a perfect holiday experience.

Breakfast here 4 days in a row enjoying early autumn sun. Great bacon and egg rolls, wife enjoyed the fruitcake (for breakfast!) but the best thing was the terrific flat whites in proper cups and saucers. Nice staff, great view goes without saying.

Perfectly located on the Prom, it presents itself really well. Nicely done menu of food and drink (I like a thoughtfully done typeface), and that feeling is carried through to the take away drink cups and the general decor. I was much taken with the long spoon that comes with the latte (not the takeaway) - thoughtful and nice. Not said anything about what people go there have I? it's on a par with the overall feel. Coffee is good, bacon roll is good, seating is good, service is good, clientele is good, view is good. All in all - very good.

Lovely little place on the seafront. Food tasty, service very friendly and perfect for anyone like me who forgot one of the childrens buckets... it has a great selection of beach essentials!

Nice little stop off during a beach stroll with a warm smile and friendly service. Good coffee and a decent cream tea awaits as you tuck yourself in the warmth of the corner spot watching the sea and a sunny afternoon go by. Doesn't get much better than that!!! ?

A real treat even, if a little more upmarket than the competition, but an excellent choice of food and a covered area usually available with excellent view of the beach

We stayed in a queue for 20Minutes and then were told that they are out of half of their ice creams. I suggested that it would be very lovely if they would have written that they are out of 5 types of ice cream and people don’t need to stand in a queue for 20 min in order to hear about this. But got very unpleasant answer. Shame on them for such an unprofessional attitude towards clients

Really friendly staff with amazing service and a well priced menu, especially for a coastal town! Had the best bacon roll I’ve ever eaten from here

Beautiful little cafe on the sea front. It is sheltered from the wind with cushioned seats and a lovely view of the sea. My mocha with oat milk was delicious as was the vegan cheese and pesto toasted ciabatta. It was a welcome surprise to have such great vegan food! Would highly recommend stopping off for lunch here.

Food all freshly prepared. Lovely bacon bap for when you have a bracing walk along the prom. Great view of the sea from the seating area. Miss Suzie's Cafe when it is shut in the winter!

Sorry to say that this was a most disappointing visit...and we do go out of our way to support independent outlets..We arrived to find that cards not accepted due to issues . Okay, we were able to scrabble together some cash. Stood at the counter for 5 mins trying to catch the eye of one of the four staff behind the counter - when there was no queue? . During that time one lady told me she'd be with me in a minute whilst putting on some gloves to clean some shelves? Okay... but then we were ignored by everyone else? There seems to be four staff with only one actually working..Having waited, watching, we decided that, as we only had an hour and a half that we couldn't be sure we would get food and drinks in the time we had and went elsewhere..A sad first impression the family had of Southwold..
