Friendly, comfortable pub serving a good range of beers along with a range of other drinks and snacks. They don't usually serve meals but they will let you eat your own takeaway at a table. They also maintain a calendar of social events including live music.
Great drinking pub.Warm welcome. Knowledgeable and accomodating staff. Dogs very welcome. Great selection of local beers from Maldons Brewery just down the road.Not sure about food I did not ask.Plenty of community activity advertised around pub. Will definitely return. Recommended.

Absolutely love this real ale pub, super friendly (including the pub dog Silver). Selling locally brewed beer by Mauldon's - a Sudbury institution that have just celebrated their 225th year. A proper pub in a lovely town.
