Myself, my wife and 2 daughters visited the Gainsborough pub last Wednesday for dinner. We were greeted by the lovely Philip and Molly who both made us feel welcome. I ordered the Thai Green Curry. My wife ordered the fish and chips and my 2 daughters both had the burger and chips. All the food was cooked from scratch and didn't take long to arrive at our table. Just had dinner at this lovely town pub with my hubby and two daughters!!! Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and the food was amazing!!! Thai green chicken curry, southern fried chicken burgers and fish and chips!!! All cooked from scratch........ Delicious!! Highly recommend if you ever visit Sudbury!! ???

We chose the Gainsborough for an important family reunion. What a great team of staff! They made us feel so welcome. Nothing was too much trouble. The lunch was most enjoyable and the price reasonable. I have rarely had such attentive staff from a pub/restaurant and would most certainly visit again. My thanks to Philip, who made the booking, and all the wonderful staff who looked after us so well when we visited.
