Fantastic Visit to this Fantastic Country Pub . The Service was Amazing especially from Sam in Restaurant who was Very On Ball , we did not have to wait long before a drink order was taken and was promptly served , for us to enjoy while making our Dinner choices . I myself had the Steak and Ale pie which was 10/10 and my two friends both had chicken supreme which looked lovely to . Lovely pub - log fires and well decorated for Christmas. Good service. Chicken supreme was disappointing as just a slice of fairly dry chicken with some very tough kale. Coffee was not hot enough. Other food was ok.

I went for lunch with my husband today. The food was lovely a good variety of nice dishes on the menu. The service and front of house very friendly and wecolming. Definitely will return and highly recommend. Lovely garden for lunch in the summer.
