A fantastic traditional pub. I met up with a group of people I know. An area was reserved for us as requested. The service was very good across all staff - warm, friendly, intelligent and polite . Significantly better than many other pubs in the area.

We visited here mainly because of the enticing name! A cosy little pub at the end of the Main Street, it truly is a typical English pub. Friendly bar staff went out of their way to serve us. There’s a car park at the rear for customers. Obviously many rugby fans are customers as there’s lots of flags of the competing countries for the World Cup. Well worth a visit. Probably best to stick to beer here as the wine may not suit wine buffs.

We visited this on a Sunday evening, Couldn’t believe the bar staff were sitting on the floor behind the bar on there Phones. It’s a quirky type of bar , drinks was ok.

My favourite pub in Ashtead. Frorndly, welcoming and lots of seating in different rooms and a good place to go for a beer with friends. At the time of writing, they are not serving food.

Always a pleasure to accompany our Pomeranian Winston the Honary President of the Leg of Mutton on our regular visits to this REAL local pub. Everyone gets a genuine welcome
