Craddocks Parade, AshteadGreat place, very clean, lovely décor, food is really good quality, great portions and value for money. The staff here are very friendly and polite, great for a breakfast, brunch, catch up with friends, a take away for lunch, great little gem of a place.
Can even take your dog so another plus! Thank you and keep going, we will be back soon.

21 The St, AshteadVery welcoming kebab shop. Respectful, friendly, staff. Many greqt options especially for meat eaters but several vegetarian options such as falafel in wrap, which I HIGHLY reccomend.

Greenwise - Green&Golds Cafe Deli
74 The St, Ashtead2025: On our last UK visit 2 years ago we found this little gem of a place and stopped in for afternoon drinks and snacks. Recently in town again and looking for a light breakfast... it was the perfect place! Great coffee, avocado toast for me and a breakfast burrito for hubby. Very tasty. Service was great. Will definitely be back next time we are in town.
2023: Awesome little treasure found in Ashtead. In the UK visiting family. Stumbled into this little food store / Cafe on the main street through town. They were hosting a 'boerie' night, Boerewors is a traditional South African sausage, served on a bun with onion, pepper relish and chili sauce. Perfect casual Friday night dinner. And very reasonably priced! Definitely worth a stop.

Great atmosphere, albeit a bit loud due to all the chat from other tables but prefer that than the opposite.
Food was really good, service attentive and reasonably priced.

1 Craddocks Ave, AshteadThis is the best curry restaurant I know. The staff are so friendly and the food is always excellent. It's bring your own alcohol so don't forget to bring your own. I would definitely recommend it but better to book first for Fridays and Saturdays.

15 The St, AshteadCame here for the first time on Sunday with the family. All ordered roasts. I was immediately blown away by how friendly and sweet the staff were. They brought over a bowl of water and dig treats for my little dog, gave pens and paper so my son could draw. I asked for extra jug of gravy and mint sauce which was instantly on standby. The food was gorgeous, better potatoes than mine and the chicken was massive, more like a double portion! So impressed I said at the table I gotta write a review! Weldone guys, I can't wait to come back again :)

Surrey, 238 Barnett Wood Ln, AshteadMy husband, mother-in-law and I had a truly wonderful experience at The Woodman. From the moment we arrived, everything was exceptional. The atmosphere was warm and welcoming, creating the perfect setting for a relaxed and enjoyable visit.
The food was absolutely delicious…beautifully prepared, full of flavour, and served promptly. Every dish we ordered was of a very high standard, and it was clear that great care goes into both the ingredients and presentation.
What really made the experience stand out was the staff. They were attentive, professional, and genuinely friendly throughout our visit. A special mention must go to James and Annabelle, who were outstanding. They were incredibly helpful, courteous, and made sure everything was perfect for us. Their excellent service truly elevated the experience and made us feel very well looked after.
We would highly recommend The Woodman to anyone looking for great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and top-class service. We will definitely be returning!

The staff are attentive and friendly.
I always order their oat latte … it is just the best! Perfect ??
This coffee shop offer a large menu serving food and drink. Their kitchen closes at 3pm but there’s a large selection of cakes and pastries displayed. I’ve tried a number of them and they were all delicious.
My husband and daughter had a fish finger sandwich with chips & salad. The portions were large and definitely filled them both up!

The portion was huge and im pretty sure would hace done her lunch next day too. Everything was cooked fresh to order. I was extremely tempted to get some for myself too but I was still working.
