Good traditional pub. Pizzas good.Update:Still does good pizzas, now has a new ale on the hand pump and cocktails on tap!Update:Remains a good drinking pub, now have a new coffee machine making decent coffee.Kitchen currently closed due to power costs, but pub still open for drinks.April 2023 - kitchen still closed I think, but pub open.
My favourite pub in Ashtead. Frorndly, welcoming and lots of seating in different rooms and a good place to go for a beer with friends. At the time of writing, they are not serving food.

A fantastic traditional pub. I met up with a group of people I know. An area was reserved for us as requested. The service was very good across all staff - warm, friendly, intelligent and polite . Significantly better than many other pubs in the area.
