Lovely ambience and decor. Food is excellent and very tasty although it took a while to be served. The waitress was excellent. Lavatories are very cold could do with some heating? Will be back for their brunch.

Nice place but the wine prices are frankly deluded.Cocktails are £12 ish. Fine. A 250ml glass of Sauvignon blanc was £20 PLUS SERVICE. This is just nuts. It is a Surrey high street. Not SoHo. The bill for 2 glass of wine, 2 cocktails and 2 non alcoholic beer was £79.Blame the customer I suppose. My girlfriend ordered a glass of wine. Not an unusual thing and something you would scour the menu for.We are local, it was a nice place but why would we return when wine is the equivalent of £65 a bottle ?

Food was not good. I had the salt beef sandwich which had no taste. Others in my group also did not think theirs was good either.
Slow service, cold food, wrong orders. Only 3-4 tables busy so not exactly rushed off their feet. Food took ages to come. When it was served it was cold (which they then microwaved !!?? when told about). Took way too long to get a coupe of scoops of ice cream which was then wrong when delivered. Perhaps there was a reason this was the only restaurant that had a booking available on a Sunday. Shame as it started so well when they first opened.

Came back after six months to see if things had got any better. If anything it was worse.Waitresses are very friendly but the service was still poor. The initial taking of the order is good then it all falls down.No check ins if you want another drink. No plates removed when finished so we sat with them for 30 minutes, tried to order coffee which came 30 minutes later and cold.Couldn’t wait to get out of there.Food is also average and takes AGES. Do yourself a favour and go to one of them other many (and better) competitors nearby.

Food was average at best. There was no flow with the service, felt rushed. My starter wasn’t fresh as it was warm and not hot. Steak was chewy, over priced. Great atmosphere, ideal place for cocktails but that’s it.
