Lovely cosy and friendly pub. Wandered in with the dog to escape the rain. Played some board games to keep the kids entertained for an hour or so before ordering. Food was good, apparently the burger was fantastic. They could have a few more veggie options and the steak was OK (what I'd expect for the price). However overall good reasonable pub grub. Booked an area for a few quite a few guests the day after our wedding. Space was great, staff were lovely and food was delicious! Weather allowed us to enjoy the lovely garden too! :)

Our Scout Group Trustee Board meet regularly at the Bear, 4 times a year and once again we were very well looked after , the drinks snacks and service were all excellent and the atmosphere caring and friendly , very important for a long meeting after busy day's work ... Well done The Bear and hope to be back soon at our pub of choice .
