Superb food - authentic recipes , drinks and condiments . Good portion sizes and well balanced - beef wasn't too rich and perfect level of spice , sides were amazing . The food delivers well but of course it was better eating in house . They have very welcoming staff , the only reason i gave a 4 star atmosphere is because not enough people come to the cantina . More buzz needed ! Real mariachi music !Vegetarian options: Really good veggie chili . Real umami and rich flavours . It is not a flavour compromise

Mexican dining in the UK is not common, nor is it usually good. As the single mexican offering in Dorking, I was disappointed by their choice of wheat tortillas. I would have preferred a corn tortilla to go with the Barbacoa tacos that were savoury, but overloaded with fillings. The jalapeño poppers were clearly pickled and served without dipping sauce. I would not recommend this place for the price.

They allow dogs in the restaurant which is not for everyone.Ordered tacos and a burrito.Prices are steep for tiny portions.The ingredients are quality but they skimp on the meat and load on the lettuce.The food is very very bland.Service is friendly and quick.

As a real lover of Mexican food, this is the second time I have been here. There was a proliferation of such establishments pre-covid. Now there are fewer around but Tortilla still has a thriving business. This place really does disappoint. The burrito had a ton of rice and not much else, felt short changed. No refried beans, no fresh tomato salsa, no cheese...pretty much three of the bedrock ingredients of any burrito missing. There was also very little meat provided, which for the price is disappointing... The tacos were extremely average too. Really want this establishment to succeed. They need to visit a tortilla in London and benchmark what they are doing as they are way better.
