We tried this pub back in January on recommendation from a friend. It was a cold winters day so Sunday roast was the only thing to warm me up and fill me up!! I haven’t had a pub roast in years where my plate is almost bursting over the sides, so pleased with the value for money and great taste to match, you don’t get that much these days. Food was great, especially the lamb roast.. portion size was unexpected and very pleasing as most places these days charge a fortune and give you a small plate of food, but here I could have rolled out by the time I’d finished.Staff were friendly and the manager couldn’t do enough in accommodating us, considering we had a baby, we were made to feel very comfortable and enjoyed our dinner experience.

We managed to get ourselves booked into the Narnia room for a Sunday roast which was very unique having to walk through a literal wardrobe to our table waiting for us in a very well presented setting.The food was amazing. I was starving before hand, and literally couldn’t finish my serving (believe me I tried) due to the portion size…excellent value for money on size and quality!
