Upon arrival we were greeted by can you move your car. Half the car park was coned off for what seemed to be for staff, which left little room for patrons, the pub it self was OK, wouldn't rush back in winter as very draughty so if you are lucky enough to be seated away from a window you'll be OK. The waitress then informed us that every item i ordered was out of stock, so was third time lucky for me. As its a very limited menu didn't leave much. Although the food we received was very tasty and the portion sizes more then ample. Priced well and they pour a nice Guinness. Toilets need attention as buckets under the urinal collecting the leak which was nice for a predominantly food based "pub"

Wonderful place, staff couldn't do enough for us. Really nice selection of food and all very tasty. It was on the more expensive side (£20 per main) so not the place if you're looking for a cheap bite to eat for the whole family. But food was worth the money.

Lovely looking pub with a decent atmosphere but the food was awful. We had the cider battered fish and chips - the fish tasted purely of grease. The Trio of roasts was similar tasting and you really had to squint to find the lamb (which tasted tasted of pork so maybe it wasn't even?), terrible potatoes. Puddings were just ok.

Wow! Gorgeous pub, somewhat off the beaten track. On a Monday night in Dry January, it was packed. Reason being the food, which is cooked to perfection.

Horrid day, raining etc, but wet gogs and everyone welcome. Busy pub but good service.

Inventive menu with well-cooked local game dishes. Lots of gluten free and vegetarian options.

Superb pub, lovely location, with a great menu, wonderful ambience and attentive/polite staff. Prices are reasonable. The Fish Pie was great, and the Chocolate Mousse was probably the best I have ever had. Decent selection of ales. We had a thoroughly nice time and will definitely be returning. Also it’s (genuinely) dog friendly. Top marks all round

This was the first time that we had been to the Abinger Hatch and it will not be the last. The pheasant casserole was a recommendation by our waitress and it was absolutely lovely. The choice of beers was excellent and the service friendly. A real find.

I was here for a work do and the staff were lovely, really sweet and helpful- I wasn't very well and had to leave early. They helped me find a taxi, and were really patient with me.

Visited a few times while staying nearby. Good food, good service. Only knocking point off because it was pretty cold on the afternoon we last visited.

It's out of the way, but very popular. The food was excellent and plentiful, and you need to book because the dining area doesn't have that many places.Parking: It was dark when we arrived, fortunately found a spot, because I couldn't see any other places around to park.
