We were accommodated as a group walking for a Charity Schnauzerfest, and the pub let us have the terrace outside to have a drink at the end of our walk. Then a few of of us stayed on for a supper- the fish and Chips, chicken burger and beef burger were all cooked to order and absolutely delicious. A very warm welcome in a lovely village setting for Sunday lunch. The food was excellent. I had the roast pork and I can’t remember when I last had such tasty, delicious food. The staff are young (mostly) and very keen to help. Highly recommended.

Its Sunday, in a country pub, with good old English roast beef, chicken et al, with all the trimmings and a great pint of Firebird Parody. Certainly adds comfort after last nights rugby.
