We had a lovely midweek meal with my parents who had come down and were staying at the Wotton House hotel next door. The food and beer were excellent. We ate in the bar area rather than the restaurant. We were well catered for even when we were in a side room by ourselves. The pub is modern with lots of period features and a lovely open fire. Friendly staff. Recommend.

We only popped in for coffees and drinks after a beautiful dog walk in the surrounding area. Us and our dogs were warmly welcomed, the restaurant is beautifully decorated and very clean. Definitely try the Baileys latte which came with a delightful coconut cookie. We will definitely be returning to try another dog walk and more items on the menu!

We can absolutely recommend the Wotton Hatch. We were positively surprised by the quality of the food and the fair prices. The cocktails were also pretty tasty and the staff was friendly. We would recommend their meat dishes a bit more than the salads but all in all very nice ambiance.Vegetarian options: Only few options.

The staff were very friendly, efficient and helpful. We came on the Sunday and the starter we had before wasn't on the Sunday menu. However, they still did it for us. The food was amazing! I've got to say its the best food I have ever tasted. The setting is in a lovely relaxed setting with a lovely view.

Staff were welcoming, efficient and helpful. Food was amazing! They were very accomadating when we wanted a starter that wasn't on the menu for that day, they did it for us anyway. Lovely atmosphere with a lovely view. Highly recommend this place.

Lovely rural gastro-pub beautifully set in the picturesque Surrey countryside. Warm and welcoming on a very wet Saturday. Spirits were lifted by the well prepared and presented fare which did not disappoint.

A team lunch with just 7 people. We had phoned ahead with our main course choices from the 'lunchtime set menu' as we were on a tight schedule. When we arrived, we were advised that the food would be with us within 20 minutes which it was. Fabulous. Drinks orders were taken when we arrived by a lovely polite waiter and subsequently delivered apart from a slight mix up - not lime and soda but white wine and soda but soon rectified. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their food, the sandwiches, gammon egg and chips, chicken burger and my fish cakes which were amazing, fabulous poached egg (definitely recommend if you want a lighter meal). Unfortunately, that is where the awfully slow service and strange reasoning why we couldn't order desserts from the 'lunchtime menu kicked in. We were told that, due to a chef shortage in the kitchen, the set lunchtime menu wasn't available but the main menu was - surely if you are short staffed you would just have the lunchtime menu on offer as it's a Thursday lunch time? About 30 minutes after ordering, the coffees arrived but no puddings (which were all of the cold variety and didn't need cooking) and they were finally served 15 minutes after the coffees. There was only a couple of other tables occupied so no excuse for the incredibly slow service. The young waiter was polite and friendly but seemed out of his depth as to what they were or not offering on that day. Need to up their game if they want us to return. Gluten free options were appalling on the 'lunchtime set menu' - only option was gammon egg and chips! Not sure how a 'nourish bowl' can contain gluten?

Been here lots of times before and been ok. Today was not good. Ordered the beef roast my husband had the cheeseburger. I have never before had such thick lumpy gravy quite like I got. The meat was dry as were the vegetables. So disappointed. My husbands burger was dry as a bone aswell. Did let the waitress know and I was refunded £18.95 for my roast which I was grateful for. Maybe it was a bad day in the kitchen but I will not be back for a long time.

Friendly. But ordered the chicken burger at nearly £18 (with fries) and the chicken was the size of credit card and only a little bit thicker) and I very small bowl of fries. I am happy to pay these high prices if the food is good, but today it wasn’t. £18 for a burger anywhere is a lot - so it should be good.

What a lovely pub! We stayed at Wotton House nearby and this is only a short and very pleasant walk away. Great food.

What a beautiful spot to stop for lunch. The staff were very friendly and professional. The only issue I had was with the portion size of the millionaire chips, for £4.25 you just don’t get enough. Also the chips at the bottom of the bowl were soaking in truffle oil which was quite sickly.

Well I had a lovely time with my three friends, the food I had I think it was called the Nourish Bowl with beef and it was really tasty. I know my friends enjoyed theirs too. But I wanted to highlight the young lad who served us called Issac who was very attentive, accommodating and polite. It's not always easy working in hospitality as I know first hand, so hats off to him!

This is the second time I've been here with my partner this month and both my partner and I really enjoyed the food and the staff were very polite. This is definitely worth a visit. My partner and I travelled from Haslemere each time to visit and we'll worth it. Thank you Paul and staff for always making us welcome.
