We visited to celebrate a wedding anniversary having not planned anything. We made a great choice as the welcome and atmosphere were lovely, food choices ideal for us and yes the dessert trolley was amazing. The staff were really friendly too. We will be returning.
Booked here for a lunch to celebrate my father-in-law's 92nd birthday. Always a challenge to find somewhere with a menu to satisfy all in the group but this did it. 2 of the chef's specials were tried. The King prawn and salmon pasta (very good) and the liver and bacon (excellent with particular mention to the perfectly steamed veg as well as the great meat). What a gem this place is. Food to die for and customer service you just can’t get elsewhere. One of the only chippy’s in the area that hasn’t compromised on the quality and taste of food since the cost of living crisis. Wouldn’t recommend anywhere else! Big thanks to Reg.. don’t change a thing!!
