Visited the Plough today ,around 5.30pm with my wife and son , the bar was empty and the lady behind the bar was engrossed in a moaning session with a customer . I stood less than a foot away from her listening for a few minutes and it was clear I was not going to be spoken to , my wife came up to the bar and said lets go somewhere else please ... we left and looked around to see the lady walk off away from the bar into a back area ...she was not even aware of us ! We went to a Cafe Piccolo a few doors down and had few beers and snacks there .... they were a much better choice as the staff were friendly and pleased to see us .

This is such a great venue for music and local fun and easy food. It is a great place to eat, drink and feel the local music feels. We love it and don't get the chance to go often enough, but when we do, we have a really great time as the staff are great!

A pretty good pub by Farnham standards that often has live music on. They have Hungry Boys food, which is generally good and offers burgers and fries at a decent price. The pub gets quite lively and has a nice big garden for the warmer months. The beer selection needs a bit of a refresh, particularly on the ale front which is quite basic Shepherd Neame gear.Wasn’t sure about the giant husky dog roaming free here though. All in all a solid if not spectacular pub.

Absolutely lovey welcome for people that they never met. Really genuine, friendly, and so on point with just being the perfect hosts. I wish there were more like Billy and Elsie around.
