Down on three of four real ales. The pub was fine. I am very aware that the entire secret is getting a kicking currently, so choice is not once where it was. The staff were friendly and it was busy.

Just returned after a fabulous lunch. The food was outstanding and the service was 1st class, even though they were short-handed. Nothing was too much trouble and the chef, Danny, was great at checking everything was OK and explaining what was available and was brilliant at suggesting alternatives. We had our wedding here yesterday and I can not fault the team! Jack was so easy to deal with in the lead up and he made our day so special. The food was incredible and all our guests were able to choose their own food for the 3 course meal from a bespoke menu created for us! Everyone had said they will now think about it when booking an event! Great people, great service. Spot on!Kid-friendliness: Yes!!!!!!Wheelchair accessibility: Two wheelchair users without any issues!
