Walked in today as fancied some food. Ordered a couple of drinks and asked for menus. Was told we couldn't have food as we hadn't booked! Some locals came in asked if they could have food and were handed menus. WILL NOT BE BACK!

Friendly and sociable. A few down to earth northerners like myself which gives it a gregarious atmosphere. Could do with getting rid of those reserved dining tables cos there's not enough room for us drinkers.

Its a nice pub in a good location, but I must have sat at the bar for 10 mins this evening with an empty glass while the bar staff served the owners mates either side of me. I tried to get their attention multiple times but was just ignored, yet the second the people either side of me were running low they were offered another drink, ended up not having another beer and going home instead. I'll go to the craft beer place a few doors down next time.

I don't think I've ever been somewhere that wasn't exclusively (or almost exclusively) vegan with so many vegan options on a menu! So so impressed, and the food was amazing. Lovely atmosphere and 10/10 service - we were served by Tom if I remember rightly. Really grateful our friends suggested meeting here, and we'll definitely be back!
Great local pub. Dog friendly. Always excellent atmosphere and high quality food. Once in a blue moon you might be able to get a table as a walk-in, but if you are planning a visit then you should certainly book to avoid disappointment.

Our local pub, food always good, drinks great, awesome atmosphere. On our most recent visit, George in particular was fantastic, super friendly, working so hard and made for a good night.

We stopped in for our “usual”, which consists of 2 pints of London Pride and a Club Ciabatta with skinny fries. We were greeted warmly by Sam. We hadn’t been there for quite sometime but she always remembers us and knows exactly what we like. The pub was very busy with the lunchtime crowd but we received our order very promptly and it was delicious. We’ll be back!
