The Star Inn is next to the Premier Inn at East Grinstead. Having had enjoyable meals here when we last stayed in the area, we thought we would try eating here again; we were not disappointed. The menu is quite wide and whilst it serves ‘pub style’ favourites we noted there were also some more adventurous dishes to be had on the special menu. Service was very good and our meals were tasty, well presented, with portion sizes being about right in my opinion. Prices were reasonable....read full review
Staying at the Premier, we booked for breakfast, seated by a lovely lady ( pink haired lady) we had the continental and a cooked breakfast, my egg was cooked perfectly all was presented well and was very tasty, lovely selection for the continental, very clean and tidy, happily recommend ?

A country pub that does fab and very reasonably priced lunches and dinners. I had one of their specials of the day... Wild mixed grill with boar sausage, venison steak and duck. Not great for my waist line, but oh so tasty. I regret nothing!
