Our experience today was absolutely amazing, especially for a Sunday, the pub was quiet and the food quality was phenomenal. Our server Matilda took great care of us and we are definitely going to come back. We’ve always had a great experience coming here and we highly recommend!

I remember this place well ! I came for a job interview as I'd just trained to be a Chef when I was 18 in around 1985 ! Very nice, beautiful place, I got the job ! ... ... Thanks for very much indeed your reply 'Inn on the Lake' !! Makes me smile ! I'll bear it in mind ! My family also enjoyed a very pleasant day out there as well :-)

Good. Though the water in the disabled toilet was boiling hot only, and the toilet paper dispenser poorly located for person on toilet to reach.

Good pub with good food, portions were a good size and tasty. We had burger and roast beef Sunday lunch. Kids portions are also very generous . My wife and daughter loved the Yorkies and gravy. Would go again

Had the wine, dine and stay package. Food and service were excellent, room a little tired but overall had everything we needed. Lovely to have a meal and a few drinks knowing we only had to go upstairs at the end of the evening. Breakfast was very good.

Parking: Parking easily available from the main road and could see a sign for overflow parking

Absolutely ? outstanding for so many ways! The food was perfection and service was fun, smiles and laughter. Exquisite food in a romantic venue with what could be friends as staff. The BEST!

Our food was absolutely incredible we loved however we spent 45 minutes waiting for our desert menu to which my other half actually had to wave down waitresses and calling out for staff to serve us which they would look at us and still do nothing. In the end we went to the bar to get service we weren't given an apology not even a drink taken off the bill for the inconvenience. Unsure if we would return I don't think spending £130 with a 45 minute wait whilst the staff ignored us when it wasn't particularly busy especially when the waitress came over cleared our plates and asked if we would like the desert menu to which we said yes to and still had that 45
