I collected a Chicken Madras, Sag rice, mushroom bhaji and poppadums(?), from Thani moon. When I got home it was still piping hot, with lovely flavours. My usual gripe about dishes like Madras is that the sauce is often very runny. This wasn’t the case with my meal. Thani Moon is now my go to for Indian food.
What a little diamond in the middle of Godalming. When we booked for our curry club, we were restricted to 16 places. This can often happen so that venues don’t get booked out on one party … turns out the restaurant only has seating for 16! Anyway, orders taken with some useful input from the waiter from a reasonable menu which had a few interesting specials, drinks served, we sat back with the poppadums and dips. We have been having takeaways from the Thani Moon for two years the food is always delicious - fresh, hot and well seasoned! The family who run the takeaway are lovely and the customer service is always excellent. Our regular order is always delivered quickly and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend!
