I haven't eaten here myself but there is nothing to expect that the food would be anything but good. I would describe it as a well run and reasonably priced pub. No sticky tables here (my pet hate). Very pleasant staff and manager.
Great local pub with good beers, a nice garden front and back, child and dog-friendly, good atmosphere and a fun quiz night, now with live music too! Only down side is that the food appears to be mostly cooked from frozen and the burgers are generally overcooked, almost inedible in my experience - I'm astonished to read that people have enjoyed these and I've tried them several times in case I was unlucky but they've always been cooked to the point of being dry and chewy. Nice little pub, decent pub grub and fairly priced. Didn't have the 2 things on the menu we wanted but obviously popular! Tried the burger, sausage n mash, and scampi. All really nice. Sausages and burgers good butcher quality. The peroni tasted off so they happily changed it and took it off. Nice bunch of locals who seemed happy to chat. ?Parking: Quite busy street parking so might need to search for a space and walk a little.
