A beautiful old pub full of character with great food and friendly staff. The rear has a nice garden with seating and a child's play area but we didn't get to use it so will have to come back! A hidden gem.Parking: There seems to be ample parking but if the pub was very busy you might not get a space
I came here for lunch with a U3A group who I been giving a talk to. The pub coped very well with the large group and managed to ensure that everyone got what they ordered without anyone's food being too delayed, which is always a challenge! The food was good and the beer well kept!

Went midweek with a party of six.Lovely old world pub with very good food.Service although friendly was however a bit sketchy, with only one young female serving.Although though it was not busy, one dish was missed off the order completely.There is a car park at front of pub but quite small.Overall good and would return.
