Bar • “My first time at the Queen Vic in about 3 years. Staff were lovely, beer was well kept, and the food was absolutely delicious. I had the classic burger and it was the best pub burger I've ever had – it was also significantly less expensive than the local competition! The chef very kindly came out afterwards to ask how our meal was, and the bar staff were friendly and efficient. I can't recommend it highly enough!”
Bar • “Six of us met up early afternoon for our reunion; we started our nurse training in October 1983 and most of us hadn’t met up for 36 years. We spent the whole afternoon and evening in the Hotel Restaurant and it was absolutely wonderful. We had light lunch, tea, coffee, drinks, cocktails and bar snacks in the evening. The staff were wonderful to us, especially Daizy and Jake who were so lovely to us. The food and drinks were all superb and we all said we will definitely be back. There is a lovely decor and atmosphere in the hotel. The only criticism would be that the entrance to the washrooms was very dark especially in the evening. Thank you all for such a wonderful day.”

Bar • “So this one's a good one! We couldn't work out where to have lunch and the menu looked great so we went for it - really pleased with the whole thing. Food was amazing, service super friendly and had a lovely lunch.”
Bar • “Amazing service and equally amazing staff. Sophie and Oscar were particularly lovely and made sure we never waited for refills/orders which can sometimes be an issue at places when doing bottomless brunches! Excellent value for money, will definitely be recommending to friends.”
Bar • “This was a simple stop off before heading on to the ferry. The service was quick and friendly. The portions were large. The food was average, pretty much chain fare, but otherwise it was a nice meal, with a good kid selection and filled the spot on a random stop off of journey.”
Bar • “Good place. They had Amazon sports on and there was a monkey in the wall in the toilets. Didn't have any food. Not because of the monkey though.”
Bar • “Sat in front of an open log fire eating a delicious meat feast pizza on a cold wet autumn day. Would have had a beer only had to return to work after lunch.”

Other than this I've always had good food here and will always go back, the bouncers on the night was so helpful and friendly and need to be given an mention! staff was helpful when asking questions about drinks. They would have got a 5 star if the music/disco was still available”
