GREAT. in town for the walk in surgery but stayed all night! Comfy cozy pub with lovely food, friendly helpful staff and THEN a superb live singer/guitarist who had everyone up singing and dancing ( except me !. still getting over my accident )IN TOWN AGAIN. glad i got to the WH again b4 i go home.5 star ⭐ again. efficient friendly service. comfy environment. nice atmosphere. all the food and the drinks excellent
Food was fantastic, staff really attentive and lovely, could not have been better. First time having Christmas dinner out and you have set an incredibly high bar. Thank you so much.

We thought this was a really nice pub. The ambience was between a local village pub and a bistro. The staff were friendly, down to earth (i.e. not pretentious !) and hard-working. And probably the most important thing the food was delicious and good value for money.
