“Stunning location and good food. The fish and chips was good, very crispy and generous. The steak with chimichurri sauce was lovely, with steak cooked perfectly. Take time to visit the church and cemetery across the street and wonder the area. This makes for a great day out.”

“Took a drive out from Essex to The Plough, and it didn’t disappoint. Had the best Roast beef dinner out ever! Roast potato’s were amazing. Even managed a starter and mini desert with coffee. Staff and new owners were a delight. Here’s to many more trips to Effingham. Good luck to you all x”
