I was surprised to find the same staff and the food was excellent.As usual I bought the chef a drink and he acknowledged that.THE ONLY SAD THING WAS THAT I WAS SAD TO HEAR THE OWNER HAD DIED 9 MONTHS AGO. BUT THE SON NOW OWNS THE RESTAURANT, THE SAME STAFF WERE ALSO THERE. The food was fantastic, the Service was extremely good. THE Restaurant began to fill up over the course of the evening. AND gradually filled up, which from my point of view was nice to see.I would add that I have not visited Firenze Restaurant in over 5 Years. BUT yes the staff knew me and laughed and joked with me. that either says something about the Restaurant, or me ?HOWEVER i moved from Fetcham to Cyprus, but now am back in England, but not Surrey but deep in East Sussex.

Bell Lane, Fetcham, LeatherheadSeven of us went there after walking in the nearby Norbury Park, which is 6 mins away by car. We booked the pub the day before as it attracts some decent reviews.As it was a Sunday the pub serves he Sunday menu only. The dining area has a welcoming decor. We were given a long table of 10 seats so plenty of space for us. The waiting staff were very friendly. They also brought hot water for one of us.All dishes were of good size. I had fish and chip. The fish was massive. The taste of the fish was just above average. The skins were easiy detached from the fish. The mushy peas are bit dry - I would have chosen garden peas but I was not given the option.My wife had the beef from the Sunday roast menu. She liked the trimings but found the rump of beef a bit dull. She cut a small piece for me. I would say that was below my expectation.One of the my friends had the Bell burger. It looks very taste. However he found the patty a bit too burned from the flame.We spent £24 per person, covering a drink, a main and service charge.Parking: There is a free parking lot next to the pub but the space is limited. It has the capacity for about 15 cars. We came in 3 cars at 1pm on a Sunday and we could all park in the parking lot. One needs to be careful driving in and out due to space restriction.

The mixed starter was fine; the sauce for the main was a little watery but the meat was tender and had excellent flavour. Good value at £16. Service was friendly and efficient. Would definitely come back.

21-25 Church St, LeatherheadService was great! Drinks were lovely. Friend and I shared the Crispy Fried Mozzarella and the Garlic Bread with Balsamic Onions & Mozzarella. Mozzarella was ok but the garlic bread was so good. Both large enough portions to share. For my main I had the Chicken, Prosciutto & Sage Saltimbocca. Unfortunately, this was awful. It was like something you'd eat on a restricted diet in the hospital. Very plain and little to no taste. Two friends at my table said they tried the dish before. One described the sauce as "dirty dish water" This was quite accurate. I finished with the Tiramisu which was absolutely amazing. Again, shareable but so good I didn't! I was with a large table, a variety of dishes were served - burgers, pasta, fish, calzone, and pizza. Overall everyone seemed quite pleased. Again, service was excellent and I'll be back to try another main.

24 High St, LeatherheadIncredible food, totally surpassed my expectations. I really didn’t think Italian food could be this good outside of Italy, let alone on Leatherhead high street. The owner Giovanni is a wonderful host and provides excellent service. I would totally recommend this restaurant and I see why people travel from far and wide to come here, it’s no wonder it has stood the test of time. We feel pretty lucky to have access to such good food on our local high street, shame we left it so long before trying it out. Thank you for your hospitality.

Lovely large fluffy potatoes and masses of fillings. Good teas and coffees but also licensed for alcoholic drinks. Excellent value - jacket potatoes with small side salad £5.40 to eat in. Plenty of parking behind in the Mole Valley Council car park.

38 Bridge St, Leatherhead.Good food and beer , portion sizes have greatly reduced since our last visit . Took a friend there as i was impressed with the food , portion size and real ales. The plate of ham egg n chips we got made me embarrassed.The staff were quite pushy to move people on once the food was gone and the bar staff in too much of a hurry to not converse properly when talking to them. What a difference 6 months make. On the plus side good to see the real ale pump being flushed out between barrels
