“My sister and I are from Toronto and had a one day stay in Oxted on our way home from our travels. We had stopped at The Old Bell for dinner while staying here, and had such a good time. The food was fantastic, and there were many vegetarian options available. I had the mediterranean vegetables and a mushroom and ale pie. Both items I ordered were delicious. I also had the sticky toffee pudding to finish my meal, which was to die for. Amazing food.Gillian and Jacob served us, and they were absolutely wonderful. So welcoming and attentive. I have nothing but good things to say about both of them.Thank you, Old Bell, for the hospitality and scrumptious food! I'd highly recommend this spot to anyone.”

“Wonderful setting, great menu and amazing food. I would highly recommend it for Lunch or Dinner. They do breakfast but I have not had it yet but I would imagine it's fantastic.”

“Still the only real pub left in Oxted, under new management for the last couple of years, has live sports on 2 huge screens and 1 smaller one, a decent selection of drinks and snacks and the nicest pub dog you'll ever meet.”

“Great find in a quaint town!It was my first time in the area, and looking for a spot for breakfast. Noticed the sign out front of Crown Inn and we thought to give it a try.The space is beautiful, our table overlooked the road. Great atmosphere and very friendly service. Quiet and comfortable. I had the jar of lovelies and smoked salmon benedict. Both tasted super fresh and perfectly prepared.Would definitely come back!”

“I love this pub, I come here often. The vegan options in Spoons pubs are great and the quality is amazing for the price. This pub is in a nice little quiet location tucked away from any noisy roads. My only criticism is that they never have crayons for the children's menus and they don't sell the jackfruit burger, if you fixed these things it would be 5 stars. Otherwise I always have a nice time here, great atmosphere and good service.”
