Fantastic dishes with superb service
This used to be great - not any more - for bog standard liver and bacon they charge £26 - what a rip-off - that is if anyone is daft enough to order it.

Lovely pub only had sandwiches and chips with beer but was nice sitting outside on a sunny day
A quiet pub with pictures of the late Queen and Margaret Thatcher displayed on the walls. Some nice relaxing music was played at a level that allowed for conversation. London Pride on tap but the white wine served was not very good. Minute steak was generous and well cooked at medium with a good serving of green beans and plenty of chunky chips. The steak and ale pie was the smallest pie I have ever seen served for £19 and the top was burnt and inedible, plus the green veg was sparse. The mash and gravy were good, but that is definitely not a dish to order from this pub. The car parking was spacious, but I don’t think we shall be visiting there again.
