Popped in for some lunch on a sunny Saturday afternoon, had the best fish and chips Iāve ever had and service with a smile. Everyone was so helpful and the new manager is an absolute delight, Aaron I believe.Will definitely be visiting again, a beautiful pub and wonderful experience.
This is a tucked away little pub next door to one of the churches from āFour weddings and a funeralā. It seems very much a local pub and feels like it hasnāt changed in decades, but that is good. Food was not

A good old English pub . A lovely choice of food. However the drinks were expensive ? we spent Ā£13 on 3 drinks . One drink was a soft drink. I only had a half pint of guiness. Overall a lovely pub . Very historic.
