I visited the Red Lion this week with my wife to make use of a gift voucher from my daughters. We had tried a few weeks earlier but on that occasion, having booked a table, we were told to sit at a certain table and a waitress would come and serve us. 20 minutes later, no waitress, no menu, no drinks, we gave up and went home. Lovely riverside pub with a very good selection of interesting beers and a beautiful riverside terrace with some great views. Food looks interesting but expensive. There is parking and also good seating options inside and at the garden as well. The service is friendly and the venue was clean and well organised. You need to cross a busy road to get to the riverside terrace but you can order and the waitress will bring it to you. Well worth a visit.
