I sometimes pop in for a mid-morning coffee & croissant after shopping. Today, as it was nearer to lunchtime, I decided to have a sandwich. Wow! This was seriously good and the best I have had anywhere in a very long while. The granary bread was thick and fresh, and the filling large and succulent. Thoroughly recommended.
Sooo I was up late the night before checking out the best places to go to for breakfast on Tripadvisor. My fella was celebrating his birthday on Good Friday and I wanted a special breakfast place to go too which was local to us. I was drawn to the Chair and Chai because everyone was raving about the great coffee and we really appreciate a fab coffee as we have a very good one at home and always comment that ours is better than anywhere we go. What a delight to come here and take time for a delightful cup of tea and something to eat, the service is always with a smile it is prompt the food is well cooked and delicious there is a good size area of seating outside and the inside is well maintained and welcoming as are the staff. Just wonderful
