“New owners really lovely and welcoming have recently taken over The Bakery, considering they have had to take over from someone who was completely incompetent and left the business in a mess & debt, so to be saved by these lovely people is a blessing for the village and we will fully support them as we love “The Bakery”.
The previous manager has made a review on here of “RUBBISH” so please ignore as this as its not true, as he hasn’t been involved after he’s “done a runner” in April 2025. Just green eyed envy!
Highly recommend going here as it really is a lovely restaurant with amazing choices of beverages and food. Wish the new owners the best of luck and Will see you very soon.”

“Brilliant place highly recommend beautiful decor its like a time machine with lot's of stories all over the wall, clean ,tidy and welcoming, ordered the Vulcan breakfast (im very funny about café food )but I must say I really enjoyed the food the fried slice and bubble n squeak was the best I've ever had it was sublime, the rest was very tasty but the fried sliced and bubble was out of this world ,none of the food was greasy it was cooked to perfection, and the sausage was not your big standard cafe ,it was full of flavor, the price for 2 breakfasts and drinks £26 not bad ,if your ever in biggin hill go ,i will definitely be going back ,can't get that fried sliced and bubble out my mind ?”

“Great food, great ambiance, great service. It was a rainy day and this was the best pub to stop in and get some great food - soups and fish and chips + beer. Highly recommend and I'll definitely be coming by again! Lots of seating and great character throughout.”

“Really big pizza portion, £22 ish per pizza
Outside seating is cozy
Gluten free pizza base is smaller than other pizzas even though it’s the same price
I think worth it to pre book if you’re in larger group”
