Another visit to this friendly restaurant which we have been using regularly for many years. The meal and service were excellent and we'd like to give special mention to Victoria and Nina for their prompt and cheerful attendance. Equally we had the opportunity to welcome the new manager Hattie and her assistant Sandra who will be taking the reins from this week forward. Visiting family that have recently moved to the area and thought we would try here, Well what can I say , the staff are superb , nothing is to much trouble for them , the food was delicious and very affordable prices, We loved the log fire , made us feel at home! Talking to the young lady at the bar , can’t remember her name but she was covering a few shifts , what a credit to your pub she really is , such a sweet girl. visited here last week, we sat in the conservatory next to the open fire, was served by Nina, who was brilliant, very knowledable on the menu and even asked if there were ant dietry or food allergies she needed to know about, great touch! the food was great value for money and we also had a 50% off voucher. staff were friendly and very accomadating. definatly will be returning when were next in the area.
