Ambience & food quality are excellent matched only by incredibly good service. I requested a table away from the door and bar and were given a super table meeting my expectations, thank you.
I thought this was a good pub. The table we had was cosy and I didn't mind it slightly crammed in a corner by the fireplace but having the fire going would have made it perfect. I liked the selection of food and my pork belly was very nice. I would have liked it a little warmer though. Service was good. It was a busy time of the season so understand the wait at times. Beautiful English pub, recently refurbished, with wonderful food, service, and drink selection. We love the crackling fire too! Special thanks to Peter who goes over and above to accomodate patrons.
