This restaurant provided a top-notch evening, perfect for our belated Mother’s Day celebration. The food was exceptional, starting with the delicious oysters and continuing with the gurnard and plaice dishes. The margaritas, especially the spicy coconut one, were amazing and a must-try. The service surpassed expectations, with attentive staff who were knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. Ryan and Poppy stood out as true gems, making our evening truly memorable. Thank you to the entire team for an outstanding experience.

Decided to try as drove past for months. Only good thing was the warm friendly greeting. The birthday meal itself was a complete disaster. One hour from arriving until food on the table. A chicken main meal (17 quid) had one tiny tiny piece of chicken, the stuffing was larger than the chicken portion, side orders were additional cost, ie it came with nothing !Apple crumble deserts were stone cold.The manager spent most of his time checking/frothing pints, rather than checking the food going out. Wont be back here, evening spoilt. Sounds like big staffing and chef problems, quality abysmal ! Got set beside the toilets, all we could hear was the hand dryers.

I've had 2 experiences here. One was a Sunday roast where everything was perfect and I'll share the photos of this. The other experience was during a lunchtime in the week and let's say I was running to the toilet at the end.So all things considered, I'd say the food and experience is down to the day and timing. When its great it's great and vice versa, but the staff are always friendly and kind.
This was our first visit to your pub with friends for Sunday Roast, certainly will not be our last. The food was delicious, the atmosphere is exactly what you want from your local, but the real impression was how friendly the staff were, even on a busy day. In particular Poppy, our server made our time enjoyable and never made us feel rushed. She is a great representative of your restaurant, and makes us want to return!

My husband and I stopped by to have lunch yesterday. It was his first time. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating, and we all enjoyed a glass of Prosecco alongside our lunch. The cost was astonishingly reasonable. They have recently introduced an entirely new menu.The chicken was amazing. Additionally, the ham hock was delicious and delightful, although I couldn't consume the entire dish. Without a doubt, we will return and enthusiastically recommend it.Five-star rating!

Popped in for a quick lunch that turned into a longer lunch! Hadn’t been to The Drumming Snipe before but thought we’d try it on the recommendation of a close friend. Food was great and the service was exceptional. Marina looked after us and she was absolutelt lovely. Lots of decent pubs about these days but good service really elevates things.

Just been for Sunday lunch. We all had a roast dinner and it was the best one we have had for a long time. Beautiful food, bottomless veg, potatoes, Yorkshire puddings etc. The quality of the food was fantastic, service was great. I would thoroughly recommend.
