Honestly just always a solid pub food experience. Staff are always really nice, food doesn't take too long, kids don't feel like an imposition - a great local!Parking: Parking at the back and side of the pub. Some very nice options. I couldn't have any of burgers as I don't like the bread buns they put them in (brioche).I had beef steak and veg on flatbread with chips - nice!Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options

One of the best rib eyes I've had if not the best. Family friendly pub pitched like a beefeater but far better. Great rib eye. Well priced . Friendly service typical of North East. Staying for a short holiday nearby
