Staff are amazing. Nice bar area with music which is a bit more lively but the restaurant is separate so you can enjoy a quite meal. Tables all spaced out as well so your not sitting on top of each other. Food was nice but portions where absolutely huge. Was full off just the starter. Well worth a visit for food or drinks or both.
The FB posts of food, drinks and offers are all very appealing but the place vastly under delivers. There were plenty of staff, but only one smiled or seemed remotely interested in providing a decent service, let alone make you feel welcome. Leftover food and a fork were lying in the floor under our table. I cleaned these up and took to staff at the barā¦. Id have expected a āā¦. oh Iāll come and get that properly sortedā but they didnāt even raise a concerned look....read full review

Sunday lunch in this place is absolutely lovely. The choice of vegetables, the huge Yorkshire puds, and melt in your mouth beef make it a meal you have to go back for. Great staff and a great atmosphere make the lakeside an absolute must.
