Visited for Sunday lunch. After a tasty starter the main courses arrived and my salmon with prawns in a sauce was fine though weirdly it was accompanied by mushy peas-perhaps a Durham/Italian fusion going on there? The others had either lamb or chicken which they were all were impressed with though the sides, including roast potatoes, were on the stingy side. We counted 1.5 potatoes each. Plenty of staff, all very friendly.

We booked for a family members birthday, there were 7 adults, 3 children. Took a little while to get our drink order taken, but it was 5pm & was busy. The choice of food was amazing it was hard to pick. When the food came, it smelt amazing & tasted just as good. Between us, there were pizzas, pasta dishes, a chicken dish & a parmo. Not one complaint. Everything was absolutely beautiful, all plates cleared. Only problem, when it came to order desserts there was no chocolate fudge cake left or the biscoff cheesecake....waistline may not see it as a problem however ha. All the staff are very helpful & friendly. We even got the meet & thank the chef. We will definitely be back.

We always eat at Angelos when visiting each year for an event nearby and have to say that this year it wasn’t the best. Service was mediocre, we had to prompt staff to take our orders and drinks took a while to arrive. My friend was disappointed that there was only 2 prawns in his prawn pasta.

Fabulous food and wine great service nice restaurant. We had the king prawn stater and the sauce is to die for, the main dish of Cod was so good I ate the skin . The house wine was delicious. Perfect .

Visited on Sunday. Rang early on the afternoon to book table for 3.00. Arrived and given Sunday lunch menu along with the children's menu. When waitress came back we ordered the starters and asked for beef for the main course and was told they had none left. We asked for pizza off the children's menu. Was told we don't serve it on a Sunday. Surely we should have been told when we were handed the menus. The waitress didn't.apologise. She just said we have been busy today. Waited 35.mins and still no starter so asked waitress what was happening. She said there were other customers who had been waiting longer and it shouldn't be too long. Meanwhile other diners were sending their main courses back. Not sure what the problem was but the chef suddenly sent out some fresh yorkshire puddings. After 45 mins we said we were leaving and went to pay for the drinks. Suddenly the manager appeared and apologised and said the starters were ready we could have the drinks free. We said we were leaving as the wait and the customer service was unacceptable To summarise 1) If they were so busy they should not have taken the booking from us. 2) The waitress should have told us when we were given the menus that there would be a long wait. 3) We should have been told that the beef and Pizza were not available when we were given the menus. 4) The waitress needs some customer service training as her manner was quite abrupt. She made excuses but never apologised. 5) While we appreciate that the manager apologised and we got the 3 drinks free he should have been more proactive and talked to waiting customers earlier.
