We called in yesterday, hoping to get lunch. As it was 4 days before Christmas & we hadn't booked, we were expecting to be told there was nothing available or that we may have a long wait! Happily, staff were very accommodating & rearranged tables in order to seat us - virtually straight away. Despite it being very busy & them saying that we might feel a bit squashed in where we were, the restaurant didn't feel overcrowded. First time going with the family. Warm welcome and friendly staff made off to a great start.The menu choices were very good and lots to choose from including daily specials menu.I had the fish and chips (haddock) and was amazing would recommend it and we will be back.

Occassion- Christmas School reunion. First time to stay in the hotel. Absolutely stunning rooms, all recently refurbished to the highest standard, 5 rooms all differently decorated, beautiful and for the price to stay over night highly recommended.Restaurant- very modern area, decor makes the whole place inviting.Staff- friendly and very helpful.Food - very tasty with good portions.Would I return- most definitely.Well done to all involved in the running of the place
