Great little pub on the highstreet called in for a late Sunday lunch at 4pm and still had full menu available, went for the 2 course offer £17.95 we shared the halloumi starter and dessert sticky toffee (which was more than enough) as the mains were huge! I ordered the beef and it was cooked perfectly! Plenty of gravy, the roast potatoes and veg were absolutely delicious! Sides of cauliflower cheese and mashed swede included. great bar with nice tapas and variety of drinks. 3 shots for £10 :) the atmosphere is amazing, service was good, couldn’t fault the experienceI had the new peri fried chicken which was lovely, partner had hummous flatbread and then scallops. the scallops were over cooked, but we still loved the food.the outside has been painted recently it looks good

Excellent bar and also love the new outside decor - really puts the bet Fred and chicken shop over the road to shame. I’ve give four out of five for service because they don’t give out free little pens. Otherwise - best bar on the high street.Vegetarian options: Plenty
