(previously 5 star review and regular customer)- Falafel was burnt- Salad was depressing and clearly not fresh- The Bake Salad missing from the order altogether- Lamb shawarma was tough and clearly not freshly cooked- Chicken and Hummus was the only redeeming part
Great food, deserves to be busier. We waited in vain to be served in Kiln, which is a great spot but understaffed. We grew tired of waiting and walked just a few yards up the hill to this place. We got served quickly and the food was amazing.

I was sad to see some poor reviews about this restaurant: I was sad when I started eating our meal because it took me right back to my previous life in the Middle East! We had it delivered on a Wednesday night to Washington. It was fresh, tasty, authentic...what more can I say? Next time we're in the North East we hope to dine in. Well done 'The Bake'!
